Samsung’s robot dog is an exciting faceless smart pet for your monitoring needs

We are in 2021, and so far there has been one crisis after another. What really gives me hope is the time I spend with my dog. It’s a moment away from the chaos, and I often wonder if my dog knows what’s going on around us? Do our pets have a sixth sense of disaster as of our emotions? Dogs are one of the most intelligent companions that have, and our furious friends really form an inexplicable bond with us. Which leads me to this ̵

1; what is the future of robot dogs?

Without real emotions, but with advanced AI, they will definitely be smarter and more effective. Dog robots will probably be a hybrid of a smart pet and a housekeeper, I imagine features such as security cameras for the eyes while still being cute enough to give you the newspaper and wake you up in the morning. Dog remedies can have the advantage of being low maintenance, they do not require mandatory trips on days when you are sick or make you panic if you forget to leave the food out in crisis situations. And as you can guess, they will definitely not be bothersome during the bath time.

So for the future it actually sounds like a practical alternative because AI will be able to mimic the dog’s behavior closely, but what about our conditional behavior towards dogs? This conceptual Samsung dog robot replaces the dog’s functions with a screen, so instead of a confused head, the face or screen of the robot tilts you a question mark. If the tech giants are going to make a robot dog, using a screen as an interactive interface will save a lot more material than using plastic-like materials to replicate the real building of your pet. With the rapid speed that AI is growing and conceptual renderings show, the dog cure will be able to chase balls and give you a leap of welcome when it registers your arrival. It’s interesting how the design is so futuristic, and when you look at it, you can tell that it was made like a dog. You may not have even noticed that the “tail” is missing, and yet our brains have evolved to attach emotions to robots.

For most of us, our dogs are considered family. The strong bond teaches us a lot about our own feelings, taking care of another at all times, communicating without an actual language, and the invincible power of the puppy’s eyes! While technology can make robots so realistic that we begin to question what is real, something like a dog laying its head on your lap can never be replicated by a fine, right? Let’s take a paw (see what I did there?) And think about what life would be like if Samsung were to make a robot dog like this.
