Shopping with older or existing phones to buy new ones is a foreign concept to me; You are almost always guaranteed a better price that sells them to another person. But it is a practical practice in some countries with some brands, and it lowers sticky shock, especially on prohibitively expensive phones such as the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip series. This time, Samsung eases the burden a bit more by letting you buy two phones instead of one, for a bigger price cut.

Samsung published the reservation link for its future flagship yesterday, and those who followed it noticed that they could add two replacement phones ̵

1; at least in the US. As far as we know, this is the first time Samsung allows this, and it is definitely a welcome step. You clean the drawers or cabinets for unused devices, you send a phone back to a company that (hopefully) will use it or the materials for good use, and you get some money on your next exorbitant purchase. Win-win-win.

Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 are expected to be announced in a couple of weeks, 11 August. The invitations were sent yesterday. We are also expecting the new Galaxy Watch4 and Buds2 at the event.
