Samsung is starting to roll out Android 9 Pie for Galaxy S9 / S9 + earlier than expected

Samsung promised to make its first Android 9 Pie update in early January, but allowed those who want to play the beta test roll the chance to try it out before it goes public. Since the official announcement, we had about three Android 9 Pie beta builders released for Galaxy S9 / S9 + and Note 9 in South Korea, Europe and North America. Although we didn't expect Samsung to roll out the Android Pie update earlier than January, it looks like the South Korean company has decided to offer Galaxy S9 / S9 + users a nice Christmas present. It's true that the update is only available in one country at the moment, but we expect it to expand worldwide over the next few weeks.

If you're a beta tester, just download a small update that weighs in at 1

58MB. Currently, only users of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 + in Germany have access to the stable version of Android Pie, but beta testers from around the world should be able to get it at the turn of the year.

The people at SamMobile already have the update hosted on their servers if you do not want to wait for Samsung to push it out OTA (over the air), but it will require you to reload it.
