It is rumored that Ubisoft + will join the Xbox Game Pass next year in a similar way as how EA Play joined the service this year.
Before the launch of the next generation Xbox Series X | This year, Xbox’s subscription service has been created by many as a fantastic deal for gamers. Throughout the year, we have seen several major name games hit the service, for example Red Dead Redemption 2 for a small period. To coincide with the launch of the Xbox Series X | S, EA entered into a partnership with Xbox to include EA Play in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and now it is rumored that Ubisoft can do the same next year.
EA Play is its own subscription service that allows players to pay a monthly fee to access a wealth of EA-specific titles, but when they joined the Xbox Game Pass, players only had to pay a monthly fee for the Xbox Game Pass for to access. Ubisoft also has its own similar subscription service that was originally known as Uplay + before it was recently renamed as Ubisoft + earlier this year.
According to Idle Sloth who shared an Xbox Worlds article (Thanks, Somosxbox), on Xbox Game Pass, they can access Ubisoft + sometime during Holiday 2021

The article describes an overview of the top 10 rumors for the Xbox, with many claims such as; Xbox is about to acquire SEGA next year, and Xbox secures publishing rights to a major AAA game that launches in 2021, and apparently Forza Horizon 5, Starfield, and Wolfenstein 3 rumored to launch next year for Xbox consoles. However, it seems that there is no emphasis on any of the rumors being made, so do not take them as fact.
As for the Ubisoft + reputation, given how the Xbox Game Pass in September 2020 saw over 15 million users, it would be a pretty smart move to do so. EA Play is currently available on Xbox consoles through the Game Pass service – although those on Game Pass for PC will have to wait a bit. If Ubisoft + was launched in Holiday 2021, there is a chance that EA Play’s inclusion could end up with Ubisoft’s stepping into place.
Once again, rumors are rumors, so do not read this and take it as gospel, instead speculate and join a good old chinwag in the comments.
