Rose’s release date announced April 19 in Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition

Will not last long now

One of the most notorious and in-demand characters of Street Fighter 5 for many years of the game’s life, and now we know when she will return to the big stage.

In addition to its large game showcase at the Spring Update event, Capcom also announced Rose̵

7;s official release date for SF5, and she’s coming in the coming weeks.

Rose will beat SF5 in just 13 days with the release date set for Monday 19 April, but that is not all that comes to the match game that day.

The upcoming fighter jet is said to have five costumes in total, but the only one we got to see under the current was for her traditional dress that looks like an updated version of the one she was wearing at the arcade end of Street Fighter Alpha 2.

They did not confirm whether all of her outfits will be available on launch day, or whether she only has the standard story and battle suits out of the gate to choose from.

For those looking to pick up the game in its fifth year, Capcom is holding a special sales campaign until April 29 with the base game reduced to $ 8, $ 20.09 for the Champion Edition and $ 14.99 for the Champion Edition Upgrade Kit on PlayStation 4.

Rose will be available for purchase separately for $ 5.99 or as part of the Season 5 Character Pass for $ 24.99. Premium Pass costs $ 39.99 and comes with everything from Character Pass plus bonus character Eleven and additional costumes.

Rose’s release timing is in line with what we previously predicted, as Capcom seems to have followed a similar window in terms of what they did for Dan after the Winter Update stream.

The Spring Update stream went over all of Rose’s moves, including her specials and the entire V-System, as well as some complete rounds from the actual gameplay, so we get a full overview of absolutely everything that will soon appear from our own resident Rose superfan Jonathan ‘Catalyst ‘Gray.
