This week has been a busy one for Resident Evil fans after Capcom officially unveiled lots of new info for the series’ next mainline installment, Resident Evil: Village. The game is officially confirmed for release next May, and while there is much to look forward to in the next chapter of the series, those who want to return to its predecessor may be looking forward to some next-generation improvements.
On Twitter, known Resident Evil inside Dusk Golem shared some additional information that was not revealed during yesterday̵
I know VR was in at some point, I do not know the current status. To make VR, they need a steady performance for travel sickness, I guess to see. There are other things that happen 100% those for some reason not mentioned here though, like the RE7 Next-Gen patch though. https://t.co/1zNHti0k0x

As this year marks the 25th anniversary of the release of the original title, it is likely that Capcom has much more in store to celebrate the series’ milestone that was not announced at RE Showcase. Except RE Villagealso publishes the studio Resident Evil Re: Vers as a free multiplayer experience, pitting players against so many of the series’ most iconic heroes and villains. In a similar way, it would not be so surprising if we end up watching RE7 get a next generation upgrade that coincides with the series’ anniversary.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
