Even Ree Drummond is a fan of Instant Pot – and now she has put her own touch on the popular kitchen group.
Food Network's Pioneer Woman introduces two different Instant Pots, decorated with its signature vintage flower art, to her line in Walmart from September 15th.
While the cooking star now uses the device to make many of her go for recipes, she says she was not sold first. "I was a little resistant to jumping into the Instant Pot world for a while because it was just another piece of kitchenware that I did not think was necessary," she tells the people. "So my good friend Hyacinth, who is on my show with me, gave me an Instant Pot for my birthday in January. I think she realized she would force it on me. Of course once it kind of clicked and I saw what this machine was able. I was completely hooked. "

Drummond says that the pressurizing setting is her favorite for making potato fried, pulled pork, stew and other cooked meat recipes.

"It usually takes three to four hours to make the pot fry the recipe if you make it on the oven or in the oven," she says. "And in Instant Pot it took an hour and 20 minutes. I've always said that you can not rush the pot steak, but actually in a press cook you can rush the pot fry and it tastes not rushed, it actually comes out just perfectly tender and moist. "

Over time Drummond says the device began to live on its counter.
"As natural as I like to do with crockery and other housewares, I thought how wonderful it would be if it had a pattern on the outside," she says.
Each Instant Pot, offered for $ 99, also comes with a booklet of Drummons favorite recipes, including hard boiled eggs, spicy Dr. Pepper Pork and Chocolate Lava Cakes.
