To survive in Red Dead Redemption 2's world, you need money. In the past, we have identified several ways to earn money relatively quickly by working with many of the game's core systems and mechanics, but there is a secret method that can significantly bump your wallet without much effort.
The method in question is none other than the toxic path of tax card side issue, which at the end rewards you with four gold bars that amount to about $ 2000 when sold. When investigating, you often find treasure maps that lead you to all kinds of valuable things, but nobody is as lucrative as the maps for toxic paths that you can finish early on. Of course, if you're more cheating on the system, try out this newly discovered glitch that can cost you 30 gold bars. But we all know it's not that much fun!
Below you will find directions that will take you to all the treasure maps in the Gift-Trail page. We also included screenshots to help you on your journey. It is worth noting that you can not only go to the final location to deposit money on the gold. You must find each tax card first before the gold appears in its associated location.

Treasure Map 1
: Cairn Lake Cabin
The first map is found on Cairn Lake, which lies north of Valentine up in the mountains. It's snowing up there, so be sure to bring a thick jacket with you before heading up that direction. If you have triggered "The Noblest of Men, and a Woman" Stranger mission, you will notice that this is the exact location of the legendary pistol ring Flaco Hernandez.
Once you have made it to Cairn Lake, you should find a small abandoned cabin – the one where Hernandez lives in. Touch the bed to the right and uncover the lockbox below the one that holds the first tax card along with some extra valuables.  Treasure Map 2: Face Rock and an Unpretentious Tree Trunk
The first tax card trying to clue you into a place with a rock that apparently resembles a face. If you have not spent much time exploring, this natural formation may seem like a mystery to you. Fortunately, we know exactly where it is. Just continue down to the Lemoyne region, located just south of New Hanover. You can find the stone just north of "E" in "Scarlett" on the map; Check the screen in the gallery above for visual clarification.
You will discover Face Rock at a height. To find the map, walk past the tree right next to Face Rock. You will want to run farther back to the ground behind, there is a thin tree trunk right next to a fall three. The second tax card is looking for a slang-like land formation. Once again, a wonder that you probably missed if you have not spent considerable time noticing all the curiosities out there in the world. This bizarre hill is southeast of Van Horn, a reasonable distance south of "R" in "New Hanover" on the map.
As the treasure map indicates, you will search for a bunch of rocks near the snake-like height. It's quite easy to spot as it's literally just a clumped-up pile of rocks with a hole in the middle. Search the hole to find the final tax card. Forward to the treasure!
The Treasure: Gold! Gold! Gold!
The final tax card points to a waterfall and what appears to be a road in a cave. You can find this waterfall at Elysian Pond, located just north-east of "E" in "Hannover" on the map. When you arrive, go through the waterfall to discover the entrance of a hidden cave.
It's dark in the cave, so destroy the lantern. Continue through the cave until you find a part of the path where you can drop down. When landing, continue through the creep area to the right, which will lead you to the fork in the road depicted on the map. Take the right path, but before you do, it is advisable to find a temporary camp with a lock case that contains a large jewelry bag.
Continue the path forward until you when what appears to be a pit in certain doom. Instead of falling to death, keep left until you come to another edge. If you look carefully, the lantern will illuminate a solid ground below what you can land on. But take a few steps back; You will have a running start to make this jump. If you're acrobatics, it's probably your head down the hill on the left. You want to slip into some water; Once you've got your balance, look to the left of a rock platform to climb up. Search in this area and you will be rewarded with four bars of gold.
If this is the first time you have achieved gold, you know that you can sell them on fences for direct profit. Even if you feel particularly generous, it is possible to donate it directly to your camp.
