Details of the release of the next Razer phone were only revealed by the company itself in the form of an invitation invitation. This event will take place in October, right at the top of everyone else's event, so we are super assured that we have all parts of the hardware under the sun exposed within a month. It's going to be exciting, no matter how you'll do it!
The invitation is quite simple. I think that Razer does not try to be particularly mysterious about what's going on at the event, with the invitation "Save the Date". See if you can see what I mean when you look below – I've blocked some info about place and etc., but you get the idea.
We have seen a little more about this next Razer Phone in a couple of leaks in the last couple of weeks. It looks like its predecessor, but it will have a collection of features that were not present before. We hope the company continues to differ from the rest of the market with a unique piece of work, not in contrast to what they did with the first Razer Phone.
With the first Razer Phone (see full review), the company has delivered a set of features that do not match today's prevailing themes. There were no big curved corners, the phone did not have super-round pages, and there was no glass on the back. Instead, Razer delivered the only smartphone on the market with a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate – and they are still the only ones with such a phone, almost a year later.
We are going to wait. Expect your old things to fit and cross your fingers, they will take warmth again.
The event begins at 06.30 (Pacific) on October 10, 2018. It will be an hour's presentation with Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan. Be there (almost) or be square, we want all the details and so much up-close and personal action that we can pattern here at SlashGear.
