It’s almost the end of the year, and to go out with a bang, Nintendo lists which games they want on their official website …
As discovered earlier today by the Twitter account @ wight90297332, Nintendo’s Japanese release schedule for December has the N64 titles. Banjo-Kazooie and Blast Corps for Wii U Virtual Console. Yep, apparently they’re going out today …?
As mentioned in Gematsu’s tweet above, both links are inaccessible. If you click on them, a message will appear explaining that the page has either been deleted, changed or is currently available. When you say this, you can still see the listings on the main page of the release schedule – with Microsoft Japan down as publisher.
We assume this is a big blunder on Nintendo’s end. Still, we wondered why these two rare games – a company now owned by Microsoft – were listed when none of the games got a Virtual Console release in the first place. Could it be a sign of things to come?
