It’s been a busy week for PS5 recovery events. GameStop, Sony Direct and Best Buy have had the PS5 again in recent days. Despite the increase in stock for PS5, it is still impossible to score a PS5.
So we’re here to help you stay up to date on all the latest PS5 recovery events, including a rumored Amazon PS5 stock, which can reportedly happen every day. Remember to bookmark this page and check back often for the latest updates on all things in PS5 when we track again in real time.
Where can I buy PS5: Check PS5 again now
As of March 27 at 06.20 ET, there is no PS5 stock available at any major retailer. However, rumors suggest that a significant Amazon inventory may occur in the near future. Also, a regular PS5 restock tipster claims that millions more consoles will come in the spring, so that things can improve on the PS5 restock front. In the meantime, you can use the links below to check where to buy the PS5.
PS5: $ 499 @ Amazon
Check stock: The flagship PS5 console includes a 4K UDH Blu-ray Disc drive. As a result, the design is a bit fuller than the all-digital model. It sells for $ 499 and includes a PS5 DualSense controller. See offers

Update date for Amazon PS5
It is rumored that Amazon has almost 50,000 PS5 consoles ready for sale at any time. The original launch date for Amazon PS5 was supposed to be last week, but Amazon reportedly canceled the event at the last minute. No one knows when Amazon will release its PS5 consoles for sale, but it’s been a long time since their last PS5 stock.
One thing to keep in mind – Amazon inventories tend to sell out in seconds. Here’s hoping their next restock event will give players enough time to grab a console. (You can always follow this Amazon trick to increase your chances of getting a console).
Best Buy PS5 update date
Best Buy has released PS5 inventory every Friday for the past month. Best Buy gives no message, PS5 only magically appears in stock. However, Best Buy always releases consoles in the afternoon, and they always offer the consoles at list price: $ 499 for PS5 and $ 399 for PS5 Digital. We predict that the next Best Buy PS5 recovery date will be Friday 26th. March according to their usual PS5 plan.
Measure PS5 update date
Target PS5 recovery dates have been difficult to nail down. This is because the retailer tends to drop inventory in certain regions. For example, someone in Chicago may see PS5 inventory in their local store, while a New Yorker may not see any stock. In addition, Target tends to take stock early in the morning before 8.00 ET. That said, their last inventory was this morning, and it was sold out in minutes.
PS5 inventory: Tracks on Twitter
One of the best ways to find out when your PS5 stock hits online retailers is to follow your Sony Twitter account. We also recommend following Twitter accounts such as @ PS5StockAlerts, @GYXdeals, @mattswider, @ PS5Drop and @ Wario64, who are often the first to have the latest updates on availability.
Keep in mind that the availability of PS5 inventory may also be regional and limited to select stores. Regardless, be sure to bookmark this page and check your reseller listings regularly.

How to buy PS5: Important tips
Several sources have reported an Amazon trick that improves your chances of scoring a PS5. We tested this trick four times, and each time we managed to get a next generation console in the shopping cart. (We tested it with an Xbox Series X, but there is no reason why it should not work with a PS5). Other PS5 dealer tips to follow include:
Prepare: Make sure you have all the right debit card details and two-factor authentication available and available when you find a PS5 ready to buy. Devices can go so fast that if you joke around trying to find your credit card, you may miss the chance to secure a PS5 order.
Choose a dealerAs you can see from the list above, there are many retailers to choose from, which can actually make the whole process of buying a PS5 a bit complicated. We suggest you choose a couple of major retailers such as Walmart and Amazon, and keep an eye on the PS5 landing pages.
Sign up for stock alerts: Many retailers offer to notify you when they have the PS5 again. We suggest that you sign up for the services of the resellers who offer them.
Find the right product page: It may sound obvious, but make sure you are on the actual purchase page for PS5 or PS5 Digital Edition. If you are on a landing page, you may miss the moment new stocks arrive.
Log in to dealers: Make sure you log in to resellers you may already have an account with. This will make things much faster when you buy a PS5 if you see one for sale. And speed is the essence today.
Continue to be refreshing and do not give up: It can be a bit demoralizing to try to find PS5 stock when everything looks sold out. But regularly update product pages to see what comes up; you may be lucky. And keep checking back here for any PS5 stock updates.
You can also make it a habit to check out Slickdeals, the online collection of deals that run the gamut from home appliances to game consoles like the PS5. The site has some specific forum threads for everything PS5 that users keep updating. If you follow the thread, you can go to the last page and stay refreshed to follow the latest news.
It is also a good idea to check out some of the subscription-based wholesale retailers such as Sam’s Club, BJ’s Wholesale Club and Costco. You need a paid membership to shop at these retailers, but that means reduced competition to catch a device there. You may have to pay extra for a package, but it’s worth checking out these places anyway. At the moment, there are no online listings for these retailers to check, but it may be worth going to every brick store to try your luck at this point.
It has been a rather difficult process during this console generation to lock in some kind of next generation purchase. But as we approach the holiday season, it is highly likely that there will be more PS5s available for purchase at some point when Sony catches up with those who want to buy PS5s.

Where to buy PS5: Avoid PS5 scalps
Unfortunately, one of the main reasons for the lack of PS5 consoles is due to scalps. These opportunistic people have used robots to scan traders for PS5 shares when it becomes available and buy as many consoles as possible at once.
When they have the highly desirable console, they will then sell them for exorbitant prices, often for thousands of dollars. Business Insider reported that one retailer managed to get hold of 200 PS5 consoles and managed to sell them for more than $ 40,000.
While this is not illegal, it is not exactly the most morally healthy thing to do. But at least it’s not as bad as someone who has pretended to sell PS5 consoles on eBay by simply posting pictures of the console and tricking people into bidding on them when no PS5 was offered.
It may seem absurd to buy a PS5 for over $ 1000, especially since the launch lineup is not very deep. But with the coronavirus pandemic seeing more people stay at home, some PlayStation fans are desperate to get a new console to keep them entertained.
We advise you to avoid buying from such retailers, counterfeit or otherwise. At $ 499, the PS5 is still a fairly expensive console, and it does not currently have a large library of games. So if you can wait until later this year, you probably have many more PS5 games to choose from, and Sony should have more consoles available.
