Good news! PS5 recovery is back at Sony. You can enter Sony’s virtual queue by clicking on this Sony Direct link. When you click on the link, you will be taken straight to the queue online.
When you are in the virtual queue, you have to wait to get to the front of the queue. The waiting time will vary, and there is a good chance that you will get “more than an hour” waiting time. If so, do not despair. The status can change quickly, and you may have a shorter waiting time than expected. (For example, after waiting 20 minutes for a previous PS5 restock event, our time was cut from “more than an hour”

You need a PSN account to purchase. If you do not already have one, you can create an account here. We also suggest that you provide address and payment information to expedite your purchase if you manage to capture a console.
It is worth noting that just because you have secured a place in the queue, you do not guarantee that you will get the chance to buy the PS5. Sony clearly states that “PS5 consoles are limited and not guaranteed even if you are in the queue.” Additionally, you may be prompted to resolve a captcha. (A simple challenge / question to make sure you are not a fine). As a result, you will make sure that the browser tab remains prominent, because if it is not, you may miss your captcha challenge and you will lose your place in the queue.
Once you reach the front of the queue, you will hear a chime (make sure the sound is on) and you will be redirected to PlayStation Store. You then have ten minutes to buy. You can buy the PS5 for $ 499 or the PS5 Digital for $ 399.
What if you miss today’s PS5 inventory
If Sony Direct is selling out of consoles, be aware that other retailers may have inventory in the next few days, especially as Sony is trying to increase production.
