PS5 was released two months ago, on November 12, 2020, but some gamers have yet to get hold of the PlayStation 5 console. Since the next generation console has been so difficult to buy, many PlayStation fans are probably wondering: when will the PS5 be back in stock?
No major retailers have announced when they will release more PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition shares, but as there have often been drops without warning, it is not time to give up yet. Find out what the latest updates are for stores, including PS Direct, Newegg, Antonline, Walmart, Target and Best Buy.
PS Direct PS5 again
PlayStation Direct is currently sold out on PS5. However, gamers seem to think that PS Direct will release more PS5 consoles once this week, so it̵
PS Direct does not usually warn customers about PS5 drops in advance, so to be notified when the PlayStation Direct queue opens, you need to follow PS5 update accounts on Twitter.
Newegg PS5 Restock
Newegg’s PS5 package, which includes the Playstation 5 Digital Console, DualSense Controller, PS5 HD camera and PlayStation media remote control, is marked as “coming soon.”
Newegg has not announced when the package will be available, but the website has an “automatic notification” button, which allows customers to enter the email to be notified when it becomes available.
Antonline PS5 Restock
Antonline made the PS5 available last week, but has not yet revealed when it will release more shares. Earlier this month, Antonline said it will release more PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles sometime in January, but it is unclear if there will be a new PS5 drop.
Antonline generally updates their Twitter followers on when they can expect more stock, so it’s worth following the retailer on social media.
Walmart PS5 again
The PS5 still does not appear on the Walmart website, as buyers are greeted with the following message: “Oops! This item is unavailable or backordered.” The PS5 has not been available at Walmart for a while, and the retailer has not announced when more consoles will be available.
Target PS5 Restock
Both PS5 and Digital Edition are both marked as “sold out” on the Target website. Earlier, the Target website asked shoppers to check PS5 stock in stores near them, but now they are completely unavailable.
However, some Twitter users believe that the “sold out” message could mean that more PS5 shares will soon reach Target, as websites sometimes update messages before dropping. Keep an eye on the Target website just in case, and be aware that the consoles will probably only be sold online when you download them.
Best Buy PS5 Restock
Best Buy’s PS5 consoles and packages are all marked as sold out, and the retailer has not announced any update dates. Players suspect that Best Buy will soon release more shares, so check the Best Buy website often.
