PS5 Restock Update for Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, Walmart and more

Sony’s PlayStation 5 is still one of the most sought after consoles available right now, and many are still having trouble finding one. Major retailers such as Target, Amazon and Best Buy have often seen stocks sold out, causing some frustration for potential customers.

Although supplies for the PS5 were released as far back as November 12, 2020, they were quickly taken into use when they became available. If you’re hoping to get a console as a special Easter treat, here’s an overview of the PS5 stock situation from Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and more.

Amazon PS5 Restock

Amazon had no supply of PlayStation 5 on Sunday morning. Visitors to the online retail giant were left with the simple message “We do not know when or if this item will be in stock again.”

Best Buy PS5 Restock

Both versions of PlayStation 5 sold out on the Best Buy website Sunday morning. While a reconstruction was reportedly expected on Friday, consumers were again disappointed when it did not achieve.

Best Buy had previously had the PS5 available every Friday for the past six weeks. But at least at Easter, players are lucky.

GameStop PS5 Restock

GameStop has proven to be a great place for PlayStation 5 seekers, with frequent inventory. The dealer had a supply card Friday morning and offered packages with Spider-Man Ultimate Edition, Duty calls and Avengers game. However, the consoles were sold out and no more devices have yet become available.

Twitter accounts dedicated to games like @ Wario64 and @GYXdeals provide useful recovery updates and are worth looking for prospective buyers.

PS Direct PS5 again

Both versions of the PS5 were sold out Sunday morning in Sony’s official store. PS Direct was last re-launched on March 23, but there has been no movement there since.

Those hoping to buy a PS5 via this route, however, need a PSN account, and the number is limited to one per address.

Twitter user @ Wario64 informed his followers about PS Direct’s inventory last Tuesday and may be worth checking out for future updates.

Both versions of PlayStation were still sold out on Target Sunday morning, just as they were on Saturday. Target had a refill on Wednesday, but there has been no indication of when new units will arrive.

Those hoping to buy a PS5 from Target must order online and pick up their console through pickup or collection. Supplies are also limited to one per person when in stock.
