PS5 and Xbox Series X available today at Walmart, stock very limited as usual (Update: Out of stock)

Update: That did not take long. At 13 NPT, all consoles were sold out. Were you able to get one while the window was open? In that case, let us know in the comments. Otherwise, we’ll see you at the next stock rodeo.

Walmart is up and running again. The dealer will have both versions of PS5 and Xbox Series X available for online sale today, January 21, starting at dinner PT (15:00 ET). How long? Every time the warehouse falls in at some shop, it is gone almost immediately. But at least you can try your luck.

Are you looking for other dealers? Look for recovery on Amazon, GameStop and Target here.

This was not included in today’s availability list, but maybe it will make a surprising appearance?

Series S plays all the same games as the $ 499 Xbox Series X, but it has a limit of 1440p, has half as much storage space (500 GB versus 1 TB) and lacks the Series Xs Blu-ray player. It costs less and will be a good choice, depending on the setup. Read our Xbox Series S review.

This is Microsoft’s premium console equipped with four times the processing power of the Xbox One. It has a Blu-ray drive and 1 TB of solid state storage and can be broadcast in 4K resolution. Read our Xbox Series X review.

The cream of the PlayStation crop, this console includes an 825GB SSD and a Blu-ray optical drive. Read our PS5 review.

Sony

This is the cheaper Digital Edition, which has the same specifications as the more expensive one, including an 825 GB solid state drive, except that it lacks the optical drive. If you have a good broadband connection, your money is best spent right here. Read our PS5 review.
