Yesterday, LastPass announced some major changes to its free level. From mid-March, non-paying users will only be able to use the service on one of two platform categories, namely PC or mobile. This means that you will not be able to use the service on both the laptop and the phone. You have to choose one or the other.
Obviously, people who discard money for the premium version of the service will not have this limitation. The company probably hopes that at least some free users will start paying for the service after this change takes effect.
But judging by the comments and tweets we saw yesterday when this news came, LastPass users are not happy with this change. They could be dissatisfied enough to drop the company altogether and move on. Are you one of these people?
Go to the poll above and let us know how you feel about this significant change. If you’re one of the people who leaves LastPass, let us know where you are going in the comments. And if you are a person who moves completely away from password administrators, what will you do to keep your accounts secure?
