Pokemon Go: How to Catch Umbreon for the Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge

It does not appear in nature.

Coaches, Pokemon GoThe Valentine’s Day event 2021 runs from now until 18 February at 8 pm local time.

As part of this event, players can complete a Valentine’s Day collection challenge to receive some nice rewards, such as Silver Pinap Berries and Rocket Radars.

This Collection Challenge asks players to track down 12 different Pokémon (here is the full list), but that task is easier said than done, since only some of these Pokémon can be found in the wild.

If you’re having trouble tracking Umbreon for Valentine’s Day Collection Challenge, all you need to know is to catch one!

First of all, keep in mind that you cannot develop an Eevee for Umbreon to complete this challenge. You can also not exchange for an Umbreon. You have to catch Umbreon in its already developed form.

So how can you catch one?

According to The Silph Road subreddit, Umbreon will only appear in Tier-3 Raids during this Valentine̵

7;s Day event. This means that you will not be able to find it in nature or as a reward meeting to complete field research tasks.

Since Umbreon is in Tier-3 Raids, lower level players (or those with weaker Pokémon) may not be able to defeat it alone. Remember that you can invite your friends in the game to join the Raid if you need help.

Even if you can defeat Umbreon without help, we still recommend inviting friends to complete the Raid with you. That way, they get the chance to catch Umbreon for their own Collection Challenge.
