Some great deals on some of this year’s bigger hits
Sony is hosting its PlayStation summer sale, discounting a number of games on the PlayStation Store. And there are many games for sale.
It may take a while to list them, though you can browse the full list on the PlayStation Blog or search the offer section of the PlayStation Store. There are a few offers that are worth highlighting, especially if you want to play catch-up on some of the big games of the last couple of years.
For PlayStation 5 owners, this sale seems like a great way to add new games to your shiny new console. Both Return and Demon’s Souls is marked down 29%, so that the fancy graphics can fit into a slimmer budget. A few other generated PS5 games are for sale, including a 30% discount Marvels Spider-Man: Miles Morales, 25% discount on the co-op puzzle It requires two, and surprisingly 50% discount Hitman 3̵
There are some discounts on other great games, like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Outriders, and Marvels Avengers, but I also want to highlight one game in particular. Last year 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a full 55% discount, which brings the price of the US PlayStation Store down to $ 26.99. It’s a real row game from Vanillaware, and it’s an excellent price point to pick it up at.
In any case, this year’s PlayStation Summer Sale seems like a good way to replenish the big hits from the last year or so, before another season of major game releases begins. The sale starts today, July 21, and lasts until Wednesday, August 18. PlayStation also notes that some extra games will be included in the promotion in two weeks from now, August 4, so it’s worth checking in to see if any more great games are sold.
