Will the next PS5 recovery take place on Target on January 19th? Over on Twitter, speculation that Target will release its new PS5 share next week has made the rounds, thanks to a new screen that apparently suggests just as much, but the current screen has since been disputed. Unfortunately, Target has not commented on the matter, leaving PS5 customers in the dark.
Just like in 2020, the PS5 is almost impossible to get hold of right now. Whether this will change in the next few months, who knows, but right now it may be the hardest thing it has ever been to get the console. Not only is the competition still stiff, but dealers emptied the warehouse during the holidays. Since Christmas, stocks have been extremely scarce. And when they have gone up on Best Buy, GameStop and more, they have sold out immediately.
As for Target, it has been quiet in 2021
If you have not seen the tweet yet, it has a picture showing PS5 stock that will be ready by January 19, but in the responses, many have disputed the screen, with users claiming that it is not for the console but PS5 media remote control. And right now this seems to be the case.
this may indicate a target fall on January 19, nothing confirmed. Got this sent to me by one of my followers. I will try to confirm this and get back to you. pic.twitter.com/NO7tC2eJ6t

Will the PS5 go on sale next week on Target? May be. However, the retailer has not announced a new supply right now, and the tweet above should at least be taken with a solid grain of salt.
When we spoke to a GameStop boss on Monday, we were told that they have not received any new stock in the store since Black Friday. Of course, the retailer has sold shares online, but the point is that no one has much PS5 stock right now. In other words, even if Target releases a new stock next week, it will probably not be the trucking supply that many PlayStation customers hope for.
