In a blog post, PayPal explains that its newly developed iOS app focuses on "customer experience" by making it easier to use and navigate. The primary focus is that users can send and request money, as PayPal says it has made it easier by putting the "Send and Receive" buttons more front and center.
Here's what PayPal says about the update:
Today, We are starting to roll out an enhanced PayPal mobile app focused on the customer experience. We make the app easier to use and make it even easier for our customers to send and request money. The enhanced PayPal mobile app emphasizes the features that customers use most to make life easier:
- We have streamlined app design to help customers see the balance, get notifications, and move money from virtually anywhere they are.
- We have moved the Send and Receive buttons so they are always at your fingertips on the home screen.
- When we send and request money, we've made it easier for customers to add their photo and personalize their contact list so they can feel more confident they send money to the right person.
Earlier this month, Consumer Reports has found Apple Pay Cash to be the best peer-to-peer payment platform. like Zelle, Venmo and Square Cash.
