PAX East will not go further this year, the event’s organizers, ReedPop and Penny Arcade announced on Monday. This despite a later than usual start date to account for the pandemic. The original plan was to hold the fair between June 3 and 6 in Boston. Knowing the situation, the organizers did not sell tickets or exhibition venues.
In light of ongoing public health issues, ReedPop and Penny Arcade will not hold PAX East this year. Given the United States’ progress in addressing COVID-19 in recent months, we are cautiously optimistic.
