- T-Mobile inadvertently released specifications for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro before launch.
- As you’d expect, the screen and cameras make all the difference – the performance should be the same.
- You will receive full information on March 23.
You do not have to wait until March 23 to get official details for the OnePlus 9 series – T-Mobile has ruined some of the show beforehand. The well-known leak Evan Blass has discovered that the operator posted (and quickly removed) support pages outlining key specifications for both the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro before their formal debut.
The T-Mobile slip-up once again suggests that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will largely vary based on camera and screen technology. Both US configurations will reportedly use Snapdragon 888 chips, carry 8 GB to 12 GB of RAM and come with 128 GB to 256 GB of storage. They also have 4500 mAh batteries. If you’re just looking for a fast Android phone, both models should do the job – even if you do not get benefits like dual SIM slots.

There will be reasons to choose OnePlus 9 Pro over the standard version, according to T-Mobile. The Pro phone will center on a 6.7-inch, 1440p screen instead of the 1080p panel on the base OnePlus 9. 9 Pro will have a more sophisticated camera setup than the usual counterpart with 50MP, 48MP, 8MP and 2MP rear sensors where usual handset will throw away the 8MP camera.
Of course, T-Mobile did not reveal everything about the OnePlus 9 series. You can expect OnePlus to share much more about the Hasselblad-branded camera system, software and prices at the inaugural event. This also does not cover 9R and other possible international variants. However, this can help you choose a model you want to buy (if any) before pre-ordering begins.
