OnePlus’ latest pair of phones will not be available to the public until next Thursday, giving the company plenty of time to crush any software bugs. Both OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will receive updates ahead of their official arrival in the hope of making each device a little more stable.

As you might expect from an update as early as this, some important solutions are on the way from OnePlus. Bluetooth compatibility issues have been resolved, ultra-fast charging is now “stabilized”

;, and the notification area issues displayed in the user interface have been fixed. Some additional improvements to the overall system stability are included, although the change log keeps it rather vague.

OnePlus is also working to improve the camera software, an important task considering how serious it takes image quality this time. According to the patch notes, the problems with noise and white balance are optimized, as is brightness at night and control over the peak. The color performance in Pro mode has also been improved.

Being a pre-release update, you will not find updates on the OnePlus forum yet. Check the screenshot above for a complete list of changes.
