Valve’s video game store Steam is currently busted, servers have apparently collapsed a few hours ago. It’s extremely common for Steam to collapse at the beginning of a big sale, even though these releases started about 18 hours after the Lunar New Year Sale began so hey, I wonder if that’s actually the reason. Whatever it is, hold on to your pens, because we are still waiting for a lasting solution.
Steam seems to have stumbled around 12.00 GMT, with the store either not loading, giving error messages or at least taking ages. It seems to wear on my legs every so often, so just like I think it’s loose, pow, gone again. Right now I̵
I have only seen problems with the store itself, with friends and games and updates and such still works well, but apparently it also had login problems. Steam statistics show that it suddenly threw over 2 million players around 13:40 GMT. They seem to be back now? For now, at least.
Regardless. All we can really do is wait for Valve to stabilize things. Until then, why not play Mystery Steam Reviews with Colm and Matthew? If you have enough eyes to guess all the games, you may be able to intuit when Steam is properly arranged.
