NVIDIA now allows GeForce GPU implementation for Windows virtual machines on Linux

NVIDIA -

Together with the current NVIDIA 465 series Linux beta, it is an exciting change in the company that they now support accelerated GPU access of virtual machines with their GeForce consumer GPUs.

Going forward, NVIDIA now supports GeForce GPU crawling for Windows virtual machines running from a Linux host.

This is a great benefit for those who want to run Windows games from a virtual machine while maintaining the Linux host / desktop and using a GeForce graphics card. NVIDIA previously did not support this GPU review for GeForce graphics cards, but it is now supported.

With the NVIDIA 465 series and beyond, NVIDIA supports this GeForce virtualization option with the GeForce GTX 900 / Maxwell and later for laptops and GeForce GTX 1

000 / Kepler and later for discrete desktop graphics. Windows 10 is the only guest operating system supported for this GeForce virtualization setup.
