Nintendo demonstrated a number of upcoming Switch titles during its latest Nintendo Direct presentation. Among the many games we saw during the broadcast was Yoshi for Switch, which now goes by the new moniker Yoshi's Crafted World.
First revealed on E3 2017, Yoshi's Crafted World is a side scrolling platformer developed by Good-Feel, the studio behind Yoshi's Woolly World for Wii U and Kirby's Epic Yarn for Wii . Like these titles, it has a beautiful handmade aesthetic, and takes Yoshi through levels constructed of paper cups, cardboard boxes and other materials.
Like in a traditional Yoshi platform player, the dino can extinguish enemies and make them an egg that can be thrown into other enemies. You must also use the eggs to solve any environmental game; In the new recording Nintendo shared, Yoshi threw an egg on a cardboard box, which then opened to create a new road. You can also turn some phases upside down and tilt them around to reveal a new perspective.
