Nintendo Switch “Year in Review” reveals your most played 2020 games

Nintendo now allows Switch users to look back on “Year in Review”. This feature breaks down the amount of time players have spent with the console in 2020 in detail. The way to access this program for yourself, provided you want to do so, is also quite simple.

Created on the Nintendo Switch’s official website, a new website allows users to log in to view their game time statistics for the whole of 2020. To take advantage of this service, all you need to do is log in to your Nintendo account on the site. . From here, Nintendo will then customize your own page that is filled with the games you played most frequently during the last 12 months.

This Year in Review feature breaks down your playing time based on hours, but it also shows your stats compared to 2019, assuming you might as well have owned a Switch last year. It also highlights the total number of games you played on Switch throughout 2020, which is fairly new. Along with this, it even includes an overview of the number of hours you spent with Switch each month, so you can know how active you were throughout the year.

Finally, Year in Review also highlights the games you spent the most time on. For many, I imagine that Animal Crossing: New Horizons will turn out to be a big time waster, but everyone’s list will obviously vary. Personally speaking Hades ended up becoming my own most played Switch game of the year, which I’m fine with.

These end-of-year endings are something most console manufacturers tend to do, but Nintendo is the first to push one out by 2020. PlayStation and Xbox will likely have their own iterations of this service, and they will come live in the coming weeks. When it’s done, we’ll let you know here at ComicBook.com.

So how did 2020 end up looking for you on the Nintendo Switch? Which games did you spend the most time on? Hit me up on Twitter at @ MooreMan12 or shoot me a message in the comments below to continue the conversation.
