Nintendo has focused on the Change a lot lately, so much that you would be forgiven if you forgot the company's ongoing mobile strategy. Nintendo has already brought a number of established franchises for mobile – Pokemon Super Mario Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing Be Precise – But earlier this year, it announced its first original mobile Games: Dragalia Lost . Today announced Nintendo da Dragalia Lost will start and the release of the game will come up quickly.
Nintendo has revealed that Dragalia Lost will release in the US, Japan, Macau, and Hong Kong on September 27th. Information about other countries was not revealed, but it is probably safe to assume that the game will launch in other major regions such as Europe shortly thereafter.
Despite being announced in April, there is still a lot we do not know about Dragalia Lost . Advertising trailer Nintendo premiere on time suggested that Dragalia Lost will be an action RPG and confirmed that it will be available on both iOS and Android but beyond the details are still pretty slim.
Monetization is one of the major issues we have. Nintendo has experimented with revenue schemes in its mobile games – for example Super Mario Run was a free starting title that eventually required a one-time payment to continue playing while games like Fire Emblem Heroes ] and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is free to play titles that depend on purchases in the app.
We may not have to wait much longer for answers, as Nintendo has also announced a special direct broadcast dedicated to Dragalia Lost . The Direct is scheduled for premiere tonight at 8.30 Pacific / 11:30 Eastern. You can see it in all the usual places, such as Nintendo's website and through the YouTube video built-in above. We'll see exactly what Nintendo has to say about Dragalia Lost later today, so stay up to date.
