The top Twitch streamer, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, has given his reasons why he does not play with female players and streamers.
As the most popular live streamer on Twitch, Ninja has every move investigated by millions of fans and haters, so his decision not to play with women has triggered debate among the community.
Talked with Polygon on Samsung Unpacked New York event, Ninja explained exactly why he made the very conscious decision, a move to protect his wife and boss, Jessica "JGhosty" Blevins.
He explained that it's the only way to avoid Internet trolls like spinning false rumors and gossip about ninja and other women, especially on a platform where women are already treated by someone) different than male streamers.
"If I have a conversation with a female streamer where we play with each other and although there is a touch of flirting, it will be taken and put on. Ninja said it was entirely his own decision not to streams with women and it was not his wife's instruction.
