Black Ops Cold War has got its own version of MP5 added to Warzone in season 1, so here is the best load to use in Verdansk and Rebirth Island.
The MP5 has been a favorite weapon in almost every Call of Duty title. It was quickly meta in both the CDL 2020 and Battle Royale modes until R9-0 took its place in Modern Warfare season 6.
R9-0 has been nerfed, and it is unlikely that MAC-10 and akimbo Diamattis will remain meta long with Raven Software testing a nerf for these overpowered weapons.
Black Ops Cold War’s MP5 is an underrated gem, and while it’s extremely viable in Warzone̵
Here are the best attachments and benefits you can use with BOCWs MP5 in Warzone season 1.
Best Cold War MP5 Warzone loadout
- Nose: Agency suppressor
- Barrel: 9.5 ″ Reinforced heavy
- Grip: Field agent grip
- Ammunition: 40. drum
- Rear grip: Airborne elastic packaging
This Cold War MP5 is built to dominate up close. Pair it with a long-range rifle, or if you are particularly confident in your target, a sniper rifle. Switch to it quickly if your primary weapon is out of ammunition, or use it in CQB situations.
First we have added Agency Suppressor. This works in the same way as a monolithic suppressor from Modern Warfare, which increases the weapon range while hiding from minimap. For increased versatility, we have also equipped a 9.5 ″ reinforced heavy barrel. This increases the MP5’s range by giving it higher bullet speed and increasing damage.
To make MP5 as accurate as possible, you should add Field Agent Grip. This helps with both horizontal and vertical recoil control, making it easy to land headshots up close and stay accurate even over long distances.
For ammunition, 40 Round Mag is ideal. You can defeat multiple enemies without having to reload, and the magazine has no effect on speed. However, to increase your ADS speed, you should add Airborne Elastic Wrap. This allows you to ADS faster, as well as help with flint resistance.
Best Warzone benefits you can use with Cold War MP5
Not only are your weapons important in a Warzone load, but your choice of Perks can also create or break a class. Here are the benefits you should drive with Black Ops Cold War’s MP5 in Verdansk and Rebirth Island.
Perk 1: EOD
A large part of Warzone is deadly equipment at your disposal. Before pushing a room, enemies will lobby a bombardment of grenades, rockets and explosives inside. If you have any hope of survival, you need EOD Perk equipped.
Perk 2: Overkill / Ghost
Although the Cold War MP5 is best suited as a secondary weapon, it is actually a primary one. You will want to equip Overkill so that you can have two primary weapons equipped, such as a Kilo 141 and MP5. If you really feel the MP5 love, you can equip both the Cold War and the MW versions.
Create a duplicate load with Ghost instead, and you can exchange the benefits when you get a new load and keep the weapons.
Perk 3: Amped
There is nothing worse than running out of ammunition in a firefight, where you must quickly change weapons to have a chance. Amped Perk will allow you to switch weapons insanely fast, which is important in a firefight.
Use Cold War’s MP5 with these attachments and benefits, and you’ll run one of the best SMGs Warzone has to offer.
