New Warzone sniper cross completely breaks the game

A new Warzone bug causes the title frame rate to plunge completely, so much so that it almost breaks the whole game, and it seems to be due to the use of a certain optical view of sniper rifles.

At this point, errors in Warzone are not only surprising, they are expected. It seems that every time there is an update, a new game-breaking bug appears or an old one carries its ugly head.

Now it seems that a new bug affecting the Battle Royale game brings the frame down to unplayable levels. The bug was first discovered by Reddit user eggybread_1, if the game’s framerate suddenly dropped to unplayable levels as soon as he equipped the Tundra sniper rifle.

This happened while he was falling into Verdansk, and the bug even stopped him from opening the parachute, which means that he crashed straight to the ground.

Cold War Bullseye reticle breaking Warzone?

Interestingly, after the player crashed and was put in a shutdown state, they were able to change class and shoot the assault rifle, which is also not normal.

So, when the player in the video had equipped the Tundra and chose a middle class game in another class, the frame went back to normal, which made the situation even more confusing and frustrating.

After further inspection by the community, it seems that the problem comes to the Bullseye optic reticle, which can be equipped on any Black Ops sniper rifle. This has been confirmed and replicated by other players, so it is a fairly common problem.

The bullseye reticle seems to be causing a framework problem in Warzone.

The Bullseye reticle was added to the game as part of the Black Ops Cold War season 1 combat, where players could unlock it on Tier 88. The reticle has not caused any issues until now, so these framerate issues are a bit strange.

At the time of writing, neither Raven nor Activision have commented on the error, so it is unknown how long it will take before the issue is resolved.

It is also unknown if this is related to a particular platform, or if everyone can be affected. Until then, players should be careful about using this reticle.
