Zenimax Media's QuakeCon is in full swing in Gaylord Conference Center, and in a leading role today, Bethesda's forthcoming open world FPS sequel, Rage 2, showed in a huge seven-minute extended gameplay trailer, called Eden Assault. Described by Rockstar Games-like female stories such as "an unrivaled partnership in games" as "ID software fits best in class first-person shooters with Avalanche Studio's open-world mastermind." It does not seem that she is too far away from the mark with that statement as we see an explosive shooting and traversal, ranging from lifting enemies into the air and giving them out of the sky to run around the sandbox in highspeed car racing competitions.
The trailer introduces the game's main players as well as the faction we fight for checking the sandbox. However, the action takes key scenes when we attack the Eden Space Center with some impressive moments and scintillating gunfire. We also get a lot of details about the various special abilities and upgradeable weapons and equipment available to players.
We get some serious Mad Max vibes from the trailer, which you can check out below:
Announced earlier this year, Rage 2 is an unexpected sequel to the original 2010- release, which was launched to a fairly average critical reception last generation. The new game looks as if it really doubles on the outrageous act that fans enjoyed in its predecessor, and we like it over the best energy of everything we've seen so far.
