Niantic has kicked off another in-game event in Pokemon Go. The Stardust Blast event is now live for a limited period. This event gives players the chance to earn twice the normal amount of Stardust to catch Pokemon and Lukeegg, and it is scheduled to run at 13:00 PT / 4 PM ET on 13 November.
In addition, two new species of Gen 4 Pokemon are beginning to appear in Pokemon Go. The sweet Water-type Buizel is now available worldwide as a Raid Battle, while the pre-developed form of Roselia, Budew, can be hatched out of eggs. The latter comes in a timely manner when Niantic recently rolled out the new Adventure Sync feature to most Pokémon Go players, making it much easier to cling eggs than before.
Stardust Blast is not the only event happening now in Pokemon Go. To celebrate the release of Ingress Prime, Niantic has created two new Shiny Pokemon, Cubone and Ponyta, available for a limited period of time. These shiny variants are green and blue, respectively ̵
However, Pokemon Gos next community event is scheduled to take place this Saturday, November 10th. The designated Pokemon this time is Gen 2 starting Cyndaquil, and if players manage to develop it into its final form, Typhlosion, up to one hour after the event ends, it will learn the powerful attack Blast Burn.
Players also have a chance to capture Giratina, the first Gen 4 Legendary Pokemon to be displayed in Pokemon Go. Giratina arrived as Raid Battle as part of the recent Halloween event and will remain present at the Gyms before November 20th. If you need help to add one to your collection, there are some tips on how to take Giratina.
