One of the hottest Android smartphones in the year is about to launch, the new Galaxy Note, and Samsung's phone dominate the rumor of the rumors. We know all that is about Galaxy Note 9, either because Samsung can not keep any secrets or because it actively encourages leaks as a way to push up the handset buzz. The Galaxy S9 was not the best-selling phone Samsung thought it would be, so the company hopes that the note 9 will do better than its predecessor.
But the new note 9 is not the only hot Android phone to launch. The Google Pixel 3 Series will be in late September or October, and we'll have a brand new leak for you, showing Google's next generation of handset.
While Galaxy Note 9 will have a "boring" design since it will look just like note 8, the Pixel 3 XL will bring over a new design. Some people might not like the fact that Google copies iPhone X, but that's exactly what will happen later this year.
Pixel 3 XL wants all the features of all other iPhone X clones out there, including a notch on the top and a bottom edge since Google does not want to cough up the money needed to copy the iPhone X properly. We have already seen a bunch of Pixel 3 XL renders based on leaked CAD files as well as real prototype images, so the following image does not come as a surprise.
Received by GizmoChina shows the rendering a new case for Pixel 3 XL . All the design elements we saw in preview leaks are there. On the front side we have a somewhat thick notch at the top that has two cameras and a front speaker, and a bottom mount that contains another speaker. On the backside there is a lens camera and a fingerprint sensor. Finally, there is a single port on the bottom, USB-C connector. Like Apple and many others, Google also killed the headphone jack, so do not expect one on the Pixel 3 phones.
The new pixels will hit stores in mid or late October, provided that Google does not make any changes to the Pixel launch strategy.
