Expected to be released in the first half of October, the unannounced LG V40 manages to be a very big handset. We saw for the first time the V40 several days ago, when a few made us notice the phone's notch and triple rear camera. Today, thanks to a new set leaked, we can take a look at the upcoming smartphone.
Reported, LG V40 is made seen in this article based on factory CAD drawings, so they should provide an accurate description of the device. According to Slashleaks and @OnLeaks, the V40 sports a 6.3-inch screen ̵
1; it's 0.3 inches larger than the displays of its predecessors, the LG V30 and the LG V35.
Surprisingly, the larger screen makes the V40 larger overall. Reported, the phone measures 158.8 x 75.8 x 7.8 mm, making it louder and slightly wider and thicker than V30 and V35 (both measuring 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3 mm). If these dimensions are correct, the V40 will be the third largest high-end LG smartphone today, rated just below the 5 year old LG G Flex (160.5 x 81.6 x 7.9 mm) and the 3 year old LG V10 (159.6 x 79.3 x 8.6 mm).
At the moment there are no other details about the features of the LG V40. However, we can see that the phone has a dual front-facing camera, a 3.5mm audio connector and a USB Type-C port. Probably the handset will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor, while RAM and storage should be aplenty. We expect nothing less than Android 9 Pie to be on board at the launch, arrived in October.
