New Fallout 76 Xbox One X Bundle Revealed, Release Date Set For November

During Microsoft's Xbox Live Games at Gamescom 2018, Bethesda VP of Marketing Pete Hines revealed the forthcoming Xbox One X console package for Fallout 76. Released November 14th with Fallout 76 and priced $ 499.00 MSRP, the bundle will be packed with a 1TB Xbox One X, a copy of Fallout 76, a wireless controller and a free month for both the Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass console digital game distribution service.

In Fallout 76, players will explore an online world with others as they handle materials, investigate the premises of post-apocalyptic West Virginia, and fight other mutated creatures and rival vaults. While the Fallout series has traditionally been about the singleplayer experience, 76 is set entirely within an online space where others must collaborate to survive. Fans of the series have their first chance to play the game in October with the upcoming beta, which has no specific release date.

This was one of several new Xbox One X bundles announced during Gamescom 2018. Just before the Fallout 76 package was released, EA and Microsoft announced plans for the Battlefield V console package entitled Gold rush-bundle. Although similar to the Fallout 76 package, the Gold Rush package also contains a copy of Battlefield 1943 – which was only made available through backward compatibility.
