BMW has unveiled the new Z4 M40i First Edition at Concours Elegance in Pebble Beach, California.
This debut comes one year after the Concept Z4 was presented at the motorsport show.
The next generation version of the two-seater sports car has been featured in the first edition trim, giving customers an insight into the vehicle's design.
It looks more sporty, more aggressive and dynamic than the previous Z4 with the new grid, big air intake and swooping headlights.
The car looks disappointing less dramatically and show-stops as the concept car did, but still, it's a great roadster – especially in metallic frozen orange lacquering.
car is the M40i is a powerful motorcycle with a high speed of 340 hp, which makes it possible to spin from 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds.
It has also been equipped with sports suspension with electronic steering damper, M Sport brake strap and an electronically controlled M Sport differential in the rear axle transmission.
BMW says the car's dynamic driving experience is achieved due to a combination of the driver's central seat position, the low center of gravity, perfectly balanced 50:50 axle load, wide track and compact wheelbase.
The car manufacturer also claims that the first edition of the car offers specific design and equipment features that give exclusive accents to the car's sporty style.
For example, Frozen Orange Metallic Painting is combined with glossy elements and a soft top in anthracite with silver effect.
Inside the car, BMW says that the interior is also focused on the car's sport.
First edition trim The car includes Vernasca black leather trim, electrically adjustable seats with memory function, alternative ambient light and Harman Kardon Surround Sound System.
Also comes with Adaptive LED headlamps with matrix function, Head-Up display and BMW Live Cockpit Professional.
Several variants of the car will start September 1
The prices for the series are also likely to be revealed on that date.
