We expect a steaked battery in this smartphone, given the "Power" designation, and Motorola does not disappoint. According to a new FCC filing, the Moto G7 Power will have an absolute massive 5000 mAh battery. Given what we already know about the upcoming Moto G7 Play, this move is now sensible.
The Moto G7 Play has been called by the FCC as a 2,832 mAh battery, which is much less than the 4000 mAh battery included in the current Moto G6 Play. It leaves the new Moto G7 Power to take over the helm as a stamina master in the family.
While Moto G7 Power will undoubtedly last for a few days (if not more) under normal usage patterns, do not expect it to be a performance animal or have high-end specifications. First, the Moto G7 Power will only have a single camera on the back instead of the two, three or four quad cameras that are becoming popular these days.
In terms of performance, XDA-Developers says that its small birds claim that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 632 processor paired with an Adreno 506 GPU. There will be versions of the smartphone available with either 2GB, 3GB or 4GB RAM, while storage options include 32GB or 64GB.
It is also rumored that the Moto G7 Power will have a 6.22-inch screen, comes from the factory with Android 9 Pie installed and will be available in black, silver and blush colors. Unfortunately, there is no word on exactly when any of these Moto G7 phones will be available.
