Serious fans of the series heard Khezus crying Monster Hunter Riseits TGA 2020 trailer, but it did not make any appearance then. However, “Charging Wyvern” was officially revealed in a new commercial for the game in Japan.
Check out “Monster Hunter Rise TV Commercial Teaser Compilation ”video below. It gives us a glimpse of Khezu at the 0:15 mark. Other than that, the commercial mostly consists of footage from the TGA 2020 trailer.
Khezu originally appeared in the very first Monster hunter games for PlayStation 2. Wyvern appeared earlier in Monster Hunter 4 and Monster Hunter Generations. It did not appear in Monster Hunter: World.
We also got a new look at the recently revealed new monsters Somnacanth and Bishaten in the ad. Somnacanth is a Leviathan similar to Mizutsune. Bishaten is a new Fanged Beast similar to Kecha Wacha, and it will have the ability to cast and store fruit.
Monster Hunter Rise will not introduce new weapons, but it will include various new actions and features for all fourteen weapons. Take a look at the weapon trailers to see what has changed:
