Microsoft will update the Teams service with a new Dynamic View in March. This new view allows Teams users to share content side by side with participants. It looks ideal for meetings where someone presents a slide deck or if the participants are watching a live event together.
Dynamic content such as earnings reports, slide shows, or videos can be viewed with other speakers. Currently in Teams, video feeds from other participants are small when people share the screen or present decks of cards. Microsoft’s Gallery View for Teams will automatically optimize themselves with this new view and let participants customize the view.
It will also more clearly highlight active speakers, people who have practically raised their hands, and allow participants to pin people next to dynamic content. Originally unveiled back in July, this new Dynamic View will be available to all Microsoft Teams users in March, according to Microsoft̵
Microsoft Teams usage has increased in the last 10 months of the pandemic, and the service is now used by more than 115 million people daily. Microsoft has added features to Teams on what feels like a monthly basis, with virtual breakout rooms appearing in December along with an enhanced chat experience.
