Third-party developers continue to work on new add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including aircraft and airports.

Airplane Heaven is working on its upcoming Supermarine Spitfire addition, and today the developer took a look at the legendary Rolls-Royce Merlin, which is visible in the model.

You can check it out below, while we wait for more precise release details.

At the airport we also get a drill from SimArc, which apparently works with Faisalabad International Airport (OPFA).

It is one of the largest airports in Pakistan and it is always nice to see new hubs being created for an often neglected area in the world. By the way, the Simarc studio is behind the excellent Islamabad International Airport.

When we talk about neglected areas in the world, we also get a bonus in the form of screenshots from the developer duo working at Hangzhou International Airport (ZSHC) over to FSDeveloper.

At the moment we do not have much information about the release, but considering that large Chinese airports are extremely rare for now, it is absolutely promising.

A few days ago, we published our huge interview with the head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann, who gave a lot of new info about the sim’s present and future.

By the way, if you want to read more about Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons, you can enjoy the latest reviews of Milan Linate Airport, Singapore City Pack, Tokyo Narita Airport, Yao Airport, F-15 Eagle, Paris City Pack, Greater Moncton Airport , Tweed New Haven Airport, Santorini Airport, Sydney Airport, Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, Reggio Calabria Airport, Bastia Poretta Airport, Munich Airport, Paris Orly Airport, Newcastle International Airport, Sankt Johann Airfield, Dublin International Airport, and Seoul City Wow. We also have a beta preview of Singapore Changi Airport.

To learn more about the game itself, read our review that will tell you everything you need to know about Asobo Studios games.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is already available for Windows 10 and Steam and will be released in the summer of 2021 for Xbox Series X ad Series S.
