Marvel’s Avengers, Borderlands 3 and The Long Dark Join PlayStation this week

Sony has announced that Marvel’s Avengers, Borderlands 3 and The Long Dark are all coming to PlayStation Now April 6, 2021. Announced on PlayStation.Blog, these three games will all be available tomorrow, and Marvel’s Avengers will remain on the service until 5 p.m. July 2021, while Borderlands 3 will continue until September 29, 2021. No removal date was given for The Long Dark.To celebrate the arrival of these games, Sony is offering a seven-day free trial period for PS4 and PS5 owners starting Wednesday, April 7, and it will be available to anyone who does not currently subscribe to PlayStation Now.

Although PS Now is available on PS5, the service still only gives subscribers access to PS4, PS3 and PS2 games, according to PlayStation. This will lead us to believe that despite Marvel̵

7;s Avengers and Borderlands 3 having PS5 versions, the versions coming to PS Now will only be the PS4 versions. IGN has contacted Sony for clarification.

PS Now has over 800 PS4, PS3 and PS2 titles available for streaming, and over 300 PS4 games also available for download, in “up to 4K resolution if you play on PS4 Pro.”While fans looking to try out Marvel’s Avengers will experience some of the updates coming in the game’s 2021 Content Roadmap, the game will likely leave service before the war for the Wakanda expansion that will add Black Panther to the game later in 2021.
