Back in August due to a messy legal battle (which is still going on), Frogwares’ Lovecraftian The sinking city was sourced from digital store fronts across Xbox, PlayStation and PC. Well today, Nacon (formerly known as Big Ben Interactive) announced that the game has returned to the Microsoft Store, as well as Steam.
The PlayStation Store version will also be available soon. As of the time of the press release, the Steam release is already available. No word on the game returning to the Epic Game Store, where the game was originally exclusive to the service.
The return to digital stores comes after a judge leading the case between Nacon and Frogwares, gave a temporary order and said that Frogwares violated the contract with Nacon illegally, and must continue to comply with it. In turn, Nacon is able to have The sinking city resold digitally.
The sinking city is also available on the Nintendo Switch, where it was self-released by Frogwares.
