Sorry guys, another game is delayed. This time it is Lord of the Rings: Gollum – a story-driven action-adventure game based on JRR Tolkien’s epic fantasy novels.
The game was unveiled for Switch and several other platforms in August last year, and instead of arriving in 2021, it has now been pushed back to 2022. NACON has now joined Daedalic Entertainment as a co-publisher and will take responsibility for distribute the game.
The two companies are also merging to ensure that this upcoming release lives up to the expectations of fans of The Lord of the Rings, and in addition to take full advantage of the power of new generation consoles.
Both parties promise to “faithfully represent”
“Take a dangerous journey like Gollum, hunting for the only thing that is valuable to him. Climb, jump and sneak past dangers or to advantageous places. Gollum is skilled and naughty, but also torn by his divided personality. It is up to you to decide whether the darker side of Gollum takes over, or whether there is a spark of reason left in what was once Sméagol. “
