LG’s latest 4K CineBeam projector automatically adapts to your room

LG is known for its short throw CineBeam projectors, but it also builds standard long throw models. That being said, the company just unveiled the CineBeam HU810P 4K laser projector with some interesting features. To begin with, it can pump out 2700 ANSI lumens with brightness, covering 97 percent of cinema-standard DCI-P3 color space. Even better, the “Adaptive Picture Pro” mode automatically adjusts this level to match the ambient lighting in your room.

The HU810P has two presets for light and dark rooms, and will detect the amount of light that gives the best image in terms of both brightness and contrast, “even delivering a true cinema environment if desired”

;, LG wrote in a press release. For cinema purists, it can automatically display movies at the original frame rate of 24 frames per second using “Real Cinema” mode. It also supports HDMI 2.1 with 10-bit color, and delivers HDR10 and HLG HDR mode, but no Dolby Vision or HDR10 + (few projectors do).
