LG moves full steam forward with its SmartThinQ / ThinQ AI brands and announces more clever stuff for the CES 2019 series. We have already learned about the new audio beams and TVs with Google Assistant, and now the company has promised it will clear the fog of two other smart home products: a new Styler steam cabinet and a smart mirror.
The new LG Styler Black Tinted Mirror Glass Door (it is a mouthful!) Is obviously a premium product made for those who dress their noses every day and can afford the price plus space in a dedicated steamship. It comes in two models, one with three hangers and the other with five, both with room for a pair of trousers in the door. It eliminates 99.9% of the bacteria found in clothing, as well as wrinkles and odors. Now I know your most pressing concern is whether it is compatible with Google Assistant, and I'm happy to say it is. You can ask your phone or Google Home to turn on / off Styler, check what it does, and how much time is left on it. Logically, the latter will decline as it continues.
Next up is Smart Mirror, although its section in the press release was pretty bar and no photo was delivered. We know that it is equipped with an AI that gives you fashion suggestions, as well as that you can almost try on clothes and buy them directly, but the rest is unclear. Compatibility with assistant is not mentioned, despite LG's involvement with the ecosystem. I guess we have to wait for CES to coat our knowledge.
