Leo Whitefang still shows his back in Guilty Gear Strive

Arc System Works has uploaded a new one Guilty Gear Strive Starts Guide video for Leo Whitefang, one of the three kings of Illyria, who is also Ky Kiske’s friend and rival.

Leo debuted in Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- as a DLC character. But i Struggle, he will be available in the game at launch. Although a fellow Xrd debutant Ramlethal Valentine made a remarkable change in his style of play, Leo still plays much like the previous series.

His unique advantage is the back position which is officially known as Brynhildr Stance. Some of the Leo moves can only be performed while you are in this position, such as Kahn-Schild ̵

1; where he generates a shield that can parry attacks up close and reflect most projectiles – and the overdrive movement Stahlwirbel. However, Leo users should also keep in mind that he cannot jump or do a regular block with his back.

Leo Whitefang is the last character to return Guilty Gear Strive open the beta client list and receive a Starter’s Guide video this week. The remaining characters who have not yet received their guide videos as of this writing – Nagoriyuki and Giovanna – are both brand new, so we’ll learn their moving lists for the first time with their upcoming videos.

Guilty Gear Strive will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC April 9, 2021. Arc System Works holds an open beta test for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 February 17-21, 2021.
