Leakages of Samsung's surprisingly interesting tablet continue with first hands-on video – BGR

"Samsung", "Tablet" and "Interesting" are not words that are often next to each other in one sentence, but the Galaxy Tab S4, as we've seen so much of the past few weeks, has the potential to change it . According to all that we have seen so far, Samsung plans to do what Apple did with iPhone X and kill all hardware buttons, replacing the space with additional display real estate.

All screen designs have become ubiquitous for smartphones almost overnight, with almost every flagship that includes the trend in 2018. But when you think about it, tablets are even better suited to losing home buttons than smartphones. When you use a phone, much of the time is spent navigating between apps and jumping around. Tablets, on the other hand, are content-consuming devices best suited for watching TV shows, and the larger the screen, the better the user experience.

In other words, Samsung's Galaxy Tab S4 looks exciting. This alleged hands-on video, discovered by SlashLeaks gives us no explicit details about specifications, price or release date, but the 1

0-second clip apparently confirms that Samsung will dive the Home button in favor of more screens. The bad news is that the people still look surprisingly excited for a top display launch in 2018. With the legs already more minimalistic on the current iPad Pro and a smoother iPad provided DOA, the Galaxy Tab S4 can be stiff competition.

The second thing that the video hints at is a relatively close release date. Several devices of the tablet are clearly set up for a presentation as if they were for an analyst or retailer's demo show. That would mean a launch in the near future, and with Samsung set to make a media event on August 9th, all the stars seem to adapt.
