Last month, it was announced that the Nintendo Switch got one Ninja Gaiden trilogy release. But oh concern for someincludes this package Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 and Sigma 2.
That is correct, Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden II is not included. Announced in 2005, Ninja Gaiden Black was one reworked, harder version of the original 2004 game. The game was improved for Xbox One X, but has been removed from Game Pass. Ninja Gaiden II was developed exclusively for the Xbox 360.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 and Sigma 2 was changed PlayStation 3 re-releases, so for a “Master Collection” many fans would do it prefer to play non-Sigma game.
In the latter Weekly Famitsu, Team Ninja brand manager Fumihiko Yasuda explains why Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden II was not included in the collection.
“I am aware of there are pros and cons, ”In Yasuda. “For me personally, Ninja Gaiden II was my debut and then I have one deep feeling for it. But there is another reason for this choice. To be honest, only fragments of the data remain. We could not save them. However, as you develop Sigma Plus and Sigma Plus 2 [for the PlayStation Vita], we have so much of this type data together as we could and organized it. Because we use leverage, that’s why we chose Sigma. ”
Which Kotaku reported earlier, maybe that’s why it’s been up to pirates to preserve old games.
