If you’re looking for a unique Porsche 911 GT3 RS selected by one of the most discerning Porsche collectors on earth, look no further. Thanks to an auction listing at Bonhams, you have the opportunity to own this unique Porsche 911 GT3 RS that was previously owned by Jerry Seinfeld, a Porsche collector with a comedy hobby.
This 991 Porsche 911 GT RS is no ordinary Porsche and represents one of the most powerful 911s in the 991 generation. Built as the top of the naturally aspirated Porsche performance, the 911 GT3 RS has a 520 horsepower (387 kilowatt) 4.0-liter flat-6 as a tachometer at 8250 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission that enables uninterrupted power delivery.
For Jerry, the 911 GT3 RS was simply an empty canvas for him to customize with over $ 250,000 in options. To begin with, Jerry chose to skip the regular Porsche color palette and ordered paint to try the alternative using Liquid Chrome Blue Metallic paint from the Porsche 918 Hypercar. This 911 GT3 RS includes other options such as an axle lift, a larger 23-liter fuel tank, carbon-ceramic brakes and the Porsche Sport Chrono package.
If these options are not enough, Jerry also chose to remove the large rear wing from his 911 GT3 RS to give the car a more classic cleaner profile. Without the rear wing, this 911 has a much cleaner road-friendly look that goes back to classic 911s. Bonhams includes the rear wing that can be installed if the new owner chooses to return to stock.
With only 1,500 miles on the odometer, this unique 911 GT3 RS is ready for its new owner who will hopefully put more miles on it. Bonham’s price guide is USD 290,000 – 330,000, which is a good buy considering that the original sticker price was over $ 450,000.
